Gail lives and works in her studio in the trees in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California. Born in New York City, she spent her formative years on the East coast. Although she majored in Government at Cornell University and Harvard University, her fascination with design led her to The New York School of Interior Design where she completed their graduate design program. Gail subsequently moved to Los Angeles where she worked for three major international design firms as both Director of Technical Services and Project Director for numerous Fortune 500 clients.

After seven years she relocated to the Monterey Peninsula, CA where she started her own design firm.She successfully designed two and one half million square feet of commercial office space, hospitals and schools and was three times the winner of prestigious international design awards including “The Prix des Femmes International”. Gail’s designs have been published in “The International Compendium of Women in Design”. 

In 2000, Gail fulfilled a life-long ambition to devote herself full-time to her passion: art. Since then, through a return to study at Monterey Peninsula College, steady studio practice and personal instruction with some of Monterey Peninsula’s renowned artists as well as workshops in France, she has emerged with her own dynamic and expressive painting style.

She is an engaged member of the community of Carmel by the Sea, serving as the Vice-Chair of the Planning Commission.

In 2017, she had the honor of being asked by Congressman Jimmy Panetta, to be the Judge of the National Congressional Competition.

Gail’s work has been exhibited and acquired by collectors across the United States as well as in Europe. In 2013, her piece "The Lady in Red" was donated to Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania by a collector to honor the memory of his grandmother. A second piece has been commissioned to be hung adjacent to "The Lady in Red" to honor the collector's mother.
